Gardens of Kinross

Calling all gardeners of Kinross – we would love to share what is growing well (or even stories of those plants that didn’t do so well) in the gardens of Kinross. Do you have a vegetable garden or a flower garden. Maybe your garden is comprised of a couple of pot plants on the balcony or some herbs on the kitchen window sill. Gardens come in all shapes and sizes and we want to celebrate them all. Let us know about your special patch of Kinross. We would love you to include some photos – of you, the garden, a couple of plants or even Albert the garden gnome. Your choice. Please email your story and photos to kinrosscommunitygarden@gmail.com for inclusion on this page. If you would like one of our team to come visit and take a couple of photos, please email us with your phone number and we will be in touch. Happy to post your story using your name, just initials or simply anonymous. Your choice.

Travellers of Kinross

We are also keen to share your story and photos of any great gardening spaces you have found on your travels. Distance doesn’t matter. Maybe you know of a great garden space located in Joondalup, or Albany, Tasmania or England. Anywhere. Something that others may find interesting and also can include on their travels. Some of us are armchair travellers, and enjoy the sites through the eyes of our neighbours. Don’t be shy - Please email your story and photos to kinrosscommunitygarden@gmail.com for inclusion on this page. Happy to post your story using your name, just initials or simply anonymous. Your choice.

Harvest to Plate

Looking for some great recipes that incorporate some of the bounty grown in our community garden. This section of our site will hopefully grow as our harvest does. Everything from simple snacks and appetizers to main dishes with the emphasis on fresh ingredients that can be grown locally.  Got a winning recipe to share? Please send to kinrosscommunitygarden@gmail.com for inclusion on this page.
